Veteran musician Col Millington keeps on keeping on. The local singer songwriter with a career spanning multiple decades has released his new album Rock N Blues featuring an impressive list of guest musicians. Col says it was an eighteen month project writing the songs that all went down smoothly. The Pinto’s from St Albans are keeping the family music tradition well and truly alive. Teenagers Rachel and brother Kevin have just released their new album “I’ll never find another you” that showcases a wealth of talent for singers that young. With a mix of popular tunes and Christmas favourites the pairs easy listening repertoire is sure to give them a long & successful career. Melbourne’s very own Russell Morris knocked the audience out with a stellar concert performance at Birds Basement on Nov 10. The Aussie music legend led the capacity crowd on a journey with both the blues and roots music from his recent recordings and then a trip down memory lane with his monster hits from the 60s and 70s. It was an incredibly impressive show with inspiring lead vocals from the main man plus an outstanding band featuring Pete O’Brien, Mitch Cairns and John Creech.
