Melb Observer Rob Foenander 14Sept16 - LONG AND SHORT Melbourne Duo The Long and Short of it will launch their next album on the 25 September. The award winning singers have been travelling Australia and overseas over the past few years taking their own brand of original tunes and songs to numerous festivals, clubs and private engagements. David Baird and Patsy Toop are both classically trained artists who’ve managed to successfully cross over into the Country music genre. Album Launch is on 25 September at Pirates Tavern Seaworks Williamstown commencing 2pm. More info at COWGIRLS AT HALLAM Popular Duo The Sunny Cowgirls will return to the Hallam Hotel on Dec 1. The sisters Sophie and Celeste Clabburn grew up in the farming community of Dunkeld near Hamilton and have been singing and touring for over 10 years. Their new album Here We Go will be launched on Sept 30. KEITH POTGER SOLO Former Seekers member Keith Potger is successfully travelling the country these days performing his one man show. Time certainly hasn’t slowed Keith down and he remains busy writing, recording and also offering humorous content on his facebook page. Both political and social matters are well covered by the music legend. Breaking news is that he’s about to re record a famous Seekers classic with a well known Australian performer.
